Virtual CMO: 8 Reasons to Consider One/0 Comments/in Digital Marketing Services /by Olivier Sartor
For startup companies or companies during a transition, we offer a level of service called, Virtual CMO (vCMO) or a Fractional CMO. A Virtual CMO (outsourced Chief Marketing Officer) is an experienced senior-level marketing person you can hire on a “fractional” basis. The basic reasoning to hire a Virtual CMO is to get immediate and quality marketing expertise at a fraction of the cost and without a long-term commitment.
4 Jake’s Sake: 7 Benefits to Working With a Charity/0 Comments/in About Us /by Olivier Sartor
Jake Marrazzo | Author | Actor | Influencer
Jake Marrazzo is a seventeen-year-old high school senior who is wildly creative, has a smile that lights up the room and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Jake was diagnosed when he was 8 and has been confined to a wheelchair since he was 12. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is the most aggressive form of muscular dystrophy, a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness due to the alterations of a protein called dystrophin that helps keep muscle cells intact. The prevalence of DMD is mostly in boys and affects approximately 6 people per 100,000. There is currently no cure for Duchenne but there are many promising developments.
Jake has never let Duchenne slow him down. He is very active in his high school drama club and has worked as a host for a local restaurant. Jake is now a published author as he has just written a children’s book, One Wants to be a Letter, which has sold over 1,000 copies. Next week, we are very excited that Jake will be interviewed by celebrated author Jeff Kinney (Wimpy Book series).
Inspired by his resilience, Jake’s parents, John and Sheryl Marrazzo founded the 4 Jake’s Sake Charitable Foundation to bring awareness about Duchenne and to help other families manage the tremendous costs of a Duchenne diagnosis. We started working with 4 Jake’s Sake in 2015 as they were our first pro-bono client. We have helped the foundation with marketing strategy, content marketing, event marketing, public relations, social media marketing, search engine optimization and website design. Over the past five years, we have learned a great deal from the organization and benefitted in ways we did not expect. In this season of giving, we wanted to share seven benefits for companies who work with a charity.

7 Landing Page Best Practices/0 Comments/in Digital Advertising /by Olivier Sartor
Landing pages are critical to the success of your digital advertising campaigns. These enticements are usually made up of two pages; the offer page and the thank you page which is triggered after the audience completes the landing page offer.
Unfortunately, many companies don’t invest the time to create a landing page that drives conversions. Some companies just use their home page as a landing page. While in some rare cases that can be effective, typically one should be creating a new page that drives a specific action from the advertising campaign.
Here are 7 best practices to ensure that your company can drive more leads from your landing pages.

Ocean Spray | Nathan Apodaca on TikTok
Nathan Apodaca set the internet on fire on September 25th when he uploaded a video to TikTok. He was riding a skateboard to work, drinking a large bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice while lip-syncing to the song Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. Nathan had been driving to work at an Idaho potato warehouse when his 2005 Dodge Durango’s battery died. It wasn’t the first time the battery had died since the truck has more than 330,000 miles on it. So he hopped on his skateboard, titled his video “morning vibe” and the rest is history.
LinkedIn Best Practices/0 Comments/in Social Media Marketing /by Olivier Sartor
LinkedIn was launched in 2003, acquired by Microsoft in 2016, and now has over 700 million users. The social media platform just went through its first major redesign in four years last week. At the same time, they introduced Stories and third-party integration with Zoom, Blue Jeans by Verizon and Microsoft Teams for video chats. While Linkedin’s growth has been driven by offering social networking, premium memberships and advertising, these new features are an indication the company is looking to appeal to a wider demographic. Many people consider LinkedIn to be the premier social media platform for business.
But, are you and your company taking advantage of all LinkedIn has to offer?
All these changes led us to do this deep dive on the platform and update LinkedIn best practices to share with our audience.
Change is Good/0 Comments/in Brand /by Olivier Sartor
Change. Change is sometimes avoided. Often we do the same things, the same way. Change is good.
Fall is a good time to make adjustments to your routine. Brush your teeth with your other hand. Drive to work via a new route. Read a different blog or news website. Wear your watch or Fitbit on your other wrist.
How does it make you feel?
The pandemic caused a massive adaptation to new routines. As we social distance and adapt to a new normal — existing routines are broken and reformed. Digital transformation will force companies to rapidly change. Companies and employees will need to be familiar with change because it will be accelerating.
Should Your Company Be On TikTok?/0 Comments/in Social Media Marketing /by Olivier Sartor
This past Sunday, the Wall Street Journal announced that the U.S. operations of the short-form video platform, TikTok, would be sold to Oracle Corporation. Oracle won the bidding war over Microsoft for this high-profile deal to allow TikTok to continue to operate in the United States. The Trump Administration repeatedly threatened to close it down over the summer. The deal will now have to be reviewed by the Trump Administration, but it is known that Oracle is a rare ally of the Trump administration in Silicon Valley so there is a good chance for approval.
While we wait to see how this shakes out, I want to answer two important questions regarding TikTok.
5 Ways To Fix Your Website/0 Comments/in Website Design /by Olivier Sartor
A high-performing website is typically very essential to your company’s success. But running a website is complex and time consuming. This leaves many marketers asking themselves where to begin to make sure their website is optimized to attract, engage and convert visitors. You may find yourself asking: Are my visitors engaging with my site or bouncing immediately? Are visitors converting into high-quality leads?
